This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage associated with the Bowerbirds website. The operator is Felipe Ignacio Letelier Basáez, a self-employed professional in Spain. Contact felipe@bowerbirds.app with questions. Our Privacy Policy covers related personal data processing.
What these technologies do
Cookies are small values stored by a browser. Similar technologies can save information locally or access information on a device. Some are needed for a feature you request, such as staying signed in during checkout. Others can support optional analytics, advertising, or embedded features and may require prior consent.
Inventory
| Name | Provider / scope | Purpose | Duration | Consent category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
bb_web_session_v1 |
Bowerbirds, on the host serving its web sign-in and checkout flow | Holds a short-lived sign-in token so the server can recognize the authenticated purchase session. It is not intended for advertising. | Up to 50 minutes from being set; a new sign-in may set a new value. | Strictly necessary for the requested signed-in flow. |
Additional cookies, browser storage, pixels, or similar access on the deployed site: as follows, verified by inspection of the site source. The Bowerbirds marketing site sets no cookies of its own and uses no localStorage or sessionStorage. The cookies that do occur are strictly necessary: Cloudflare's edge security cookies, a short-lived HttpOnly consent cookie scoped to the authorisation path during agent sign-in, and Stripe's own cookies on its hosted checkout. One third-party connection is not a cookie but is disclosed here because it transmits personal data: the site loads Google Fonts from Google's servers, sending the visitor's IP address to Google on every page view. Self-hosting the font files removes that transfer entirely. A final browser-based inventory of the production site, sign-in and checkout must be run before publication.
Third-party sign-in and payment pages may use their own technologies when you visit them. Review the information shown by the relevant provider. We do not classify every third-party payment or security cookie as necessary without considering what it actually does.
Your choices
Strictly necessary technologies support the service you request. Where a technology requires consent, it must remain inactive until you choose to allow it. You can refuse optional technologies and still access features that do not require them. Continuing to browse is not consent.
If optional technologies are offered, the website provides choices to accept, reject, or select them and a way to change or withdraw the choice. Those controls must be available before the optional technology is used. The inventory above identifies the actual categories involved.
You can also use your browser's controls to inspect and delete stored values or block cookies. Blocking a sign-in cookie can prevent the authenticated checkout session from working. Deleting a cookie does not cancel a subscription or delete data already held on our servers.
Updates
We update this policy when the inventory or purposes change. Where a new purpose requires consent, we request that consent before activating it.
